COVID-19 Information for foreign visitors

The information is current as of August 23, 2021.

Information may change over time depending on new measures by the Ministry of Health.

 

Briefly (last update: August 23, 2021): 

  1. Before arriving in the Czech Republic, check the current “color” of your country. That will tell you the exact conditions for entering CZ (see the schedules below).
  2. You need: 
    1. a national certificate or a digital EU certificate with a confirmation of a full vaccination (i.e. after at least 14 days from the application of the last dose) OR
    2. a negative antigen (max. 48 hours) / PCR (max 72 hours) test to cross the border OR
    3. a laboratory confirmation of having recovered from covid-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days 
  3. At the festival entrance you will need to show the vaccination certificate or the negative test result or the laboratory confirmation described below.

 


 

What are the rules to enter Czech Republic? 

The conditions for entering the Czech Republic vary depending on which country you are coming from. List of countries according to the level of risk could be found in this article . Information regarding recognition of vaccination certificates from other countries could be found here.

PART A – citizens of EU+ and foreign nationals with residence permit issued by Czechia OR long-term or permanent residence permit issued by EU+

What are the conditions for attending the culture events? 

Upon arrival, everyone must prove that one of the following conditions is met:

  • Have a negative RT-PCR test not exceeding 6 days old,
  • Have a negative POC (so-called antigenic) test not exceeding 2 days (48 hours) old,
  • Have a laboratory confirmation of having recovered from covid-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days before the day of the event,
  • Proof of having received the last dose of vaccine against covid-19, at least 2 weeks before the event
  • In addition, everyone present must have a respirator on at all times without an exhalation valve of min. class FFP2 (KN95 / N95).

We will check the QR code on your phone or printed at the enreance. If the document you are presenting does not contain a QR code, you will need to present the original certificate with your signature and stamp, or show the original email in which you received the certificate.

 

Do I have to be vaccinated?

No. You don’t have to be vaccinated in order to visit the event but you must meet one from the two remaining conditions which is to have a negative antigen or PCR test (see the color schedule above) or have a laboratory confirmation of having recovered from covid-19 disease in the period not longer than 180 days.

 

Do I have quarantine after the arrival to Czech Republic? 

Only travellers from the countries with a high and a very high risk have to self-isolate until receiving a negative result of the test. The RT-PCR test should be made 5th day after the arrival at the earliest.

Is there a duty/possibility to make a Covid test at the festival entrance? 

No. All visitors are obliged to already come with a negative test result.

What happens to my ticket when I find out I’m Covid positive before leaving my country?

When you make a PCR test before leaving your country and find out you are Covid positive we’ll make out a voucher which you can use for other Beatworx events in the future. Or you can keep your ticket and sell it to anybody else, who will make a name change on the ticket.

 

What if there will be any travel ban in my country?

In case you will be banned from entering Czech republic on the basis of a government restriction or quarantine would be mandatory upon arrival in the Czech Republic, we’ll refund you all money for tickets.

Refunds do not apply to quarantine when returning to your country. In this case, you can sell the ticket to someone else or request a voucher for another Beatworx event.

 

What about tourist accommodations in Czech republic? 

Accommodation facilities are open. Upon arrival, guests must present a negative PCR test not older than 5 days, or an antigen test not older than 72 hours, or a vaccination certificate, or proof of recovery from Covid-19 in the past 180 days. After 7 days of stay, the test will need to be repeated.
