Let It Roll 2018 reveals the details about the opening ceremony

Let It Roll, the year’s greatest drum and bass celebration, starts in less than a month! This is why the organizers revealed a few things about this year’s opening show –a grandiose ceremony that is absolutely unparalleled among all Czech festivals.

The architect of the first part is no other than Abis, an ex-member of the legendary (though now inactive) duo Jane Miller, who authored the complete opening soundtrack for LIR 2016. The second part is in the hands of the young British producer Joe Ford, known for his inventive compositions and a neat, surgically sharp sound. The third chapter will open the floor for Rido, a seasoned drum and bass producer from Prague, who is also not new to this ceremony, having contributed to one of the previous opening soundtracks as well.

There is one more name that has caused quite a stir – the famous Austrian pioneer and experimenter Mefjus, who will probably never cease to amaze and surprise his fans and currently belongs among the most sought out producers out there. There is no doubt that his part of the ceremony will be extraordinary and absolutely unique. The same could probably be said about the fifth part by the multitalented English producer Muzzy, who swims between various genres with the alacrity of a piranha. The last name on this all-star bill is The Prototypes, a duo known for their tracks full of throbbing energy that leave no foot still. This is without doubt the best selection for the ultimate part, in which the entire opening ceremony reaches its peak.

It is always a challenge for the organization team to outdo the breathtaking opening ceremonies from the previous years, but we have to admit that they have been doing more than well so far. And from what we already know, chances are they will once again push their limits and make this ceremony the most spectacular and memorable one to date. So mark the August dates well in your calendars – because only seeing and hearing is believing!
