This year the main stage will feature a joint b2b set of the fellow Austrians, Camo & Krooked and Mefjus. You can look forward to this volatile combination behind the decks!
Yes, you heard us right. After a few popular studio collabs, Camo & Krooked and Mefjus are set to meet together behind the decks. The joint performance of these legends of the genre is gonna be one of the highlights of this year’s summer Drum & Bass feast. Both Camo & Krooked and Mefjus have produced many anthems. They all come from Austria and their production has been shaping the genre over the last decade. While Camo & Krooked were mostly deemed as mainstream Drum & Bass artists, Mefjus is often labeled as the king of Neurofunk.
The guys have made their first mark on Drum & Bass together back in 2014. Featuring on the “Between The Lines” remix album, which followed the popular Camo & Krooked’s “Cross The Line” LP from 2013, was the Mefjus remix of “Menace”. We then waited for another 3 years to see them join their forces again – in May 2017 they’ve released the “Mandala” single. And this surprising collaboration has made waves across the whole scene. In 2018, Camo & Krooked’s remix of Mefjus’ single “Pilot” has followed and last year we’ve been treated with another 2 stellar collabs – tracks “Kallisto” and “Sidewinder”, the first one even ending up being nominated for the “Best track” award in the Drum&BassArena Awards 2019 poll. The mutual collaboration makes their individual strengths shine, at the same time it’s so different to their usual output we just can’t get enough of it.
And that’s exactly what we’re expecting of their joint b2b set at Let It Roll 2020! A unique combination of sounds, perfect mixes at a devilish pace, loads of outstanding unreleased music in a perfect sonic cocktail with the immortal classics. Are you ready for the true “schnitzel power”?
