Let It Roll 2022: THANK YOU

Immortalz, Let It Roll 2022 is now past, we are slowly crawling out of the sleep deprivation from the weekend full of the best Drum & Bass and the time has come to thank you all. It sounds like a cliché, but without you Let It Roll would never be what it is. We appreciate the sheer amount of your support which, coincidentally on the year of our brand’s 20th anniversary, led to another milestone conquered in the history of our festival. For the first time ever we were able to sell out the festival almost a week before it even started. The festival was attended by roughly 30 000 ravers from all around the world as expected, and after 3 years of waiting we were able to experience Let It Roll in full force.

Together we’ve also experienced one of the most packed festival lineups ever. Spearheaded by the legendary Pendulum LIVE whose Friday show was without a shadow of a doubt one of the most memorable moments in the festival’s history and their performance was our long time dream coming true. Aside from their breathtaking show we were able to witness the performance of many other titans of the current Drum & Bass world, we’ll also vividly remember the performances of our 2022 ambassadors Koven and Teddy Killerz or every day fully packed takeovers of the world’s famous imprints of the likes of Hospital Records, Critical Music and 1985 Music.

This year was also good for us technically speaking – after the months-long efforts we were able to present a brand new system of water distribution at the festival thanks to which we were able to install and run the new ceramic vacuum toilets. One of the things we were forced to face this year was the unfortunate weather situation. During the Friday night it made us uninstall some of the decorations first. As the safety of our visitors is always our number one priority, due to the acute danger of the big tent’s construction being compromised by the strong wind, we were eventually forced to evacuate the premises of the music area altogether.

Another hot topic seems to be this year’s opening show. We’ve decided to head into a different direction this time, to steer away from the previous years. Until the very last moments we still counted on conducting fireworks as a part of the show as usual. Since we were served with the final decision of the local authorities just a couple of hours before the start of the festival, it wasn’t unfortunately possible to come up with a satisfying alternative.

Last, but not least, we’d like to remind you we take your feedback, both positive and negative, before, during and after the festival, seriously and we take it into account as we start with the preparations of Let It Roll 2023. Soon we’ll also share with you the yearly satisfaction questionnaire where you’ll be able to address all the areas of the festival’s production. We’d like to thank you once again for an amazing festival experience and we’re looking forward to seeing you at the future events, starting with the next weekend’s Let It Roll presents The Renegade festival at Beach Park Mlékojedy.
