The winter is so romantic in Prague… The crisp snow and low sun shimmering over the grand Vltava river. Hot wine, braided sweet bread, cocoa and homemade eggnog at the cosy Christmas markets.
On Christmas Day we don’t eat until we see a golden pig, then we feast on fried carp or schnitzel and potato salad. On New Year's Eve we eat lentil soup; a tradition that promises great wealth in the new year. We go skiing, ice skating, cross-country, sledging and hiking. We squeeze as much as we can out of winter until the very last frost.
Then, right at the end of February, just as spring is around the corner, we celebrate with a massive, all-out, full-spectrum, headliner-stacked proper drum & bass rave. And that rave is Let It Roll Winter
It’s the Czech way. It’s the drum & bass way. It’s a tradition that dates back to Let It Roll’s earliest roots hosting warehouse parties back in 2002. It’s one of the very first festivals of the year. It’s now two days deep!
Level up: Let It Roll Winter will now take place over two massive nights. Held February 22 – 23 2019 at the Incheba Arena, a new venue that’s within easy reach of Prague’s centre, the line-up once again celebrates the full spectrum of the genre: Sub Focus, Camo & Krooked, Dimension, Hybrid Minds, Dirtyphonics, Kings Of The Rollers, Etherwood, Culture Shock, QZB, Benny L, Skeptical, S.P.Y, Nu Elementz, Agressor Bunx, Dub Elements, Ed Rush, Gydra, Inward, Hanzo & Randie,Subtension, Pola & Bryson, Liquidators and Tom Small will all be taking part in the classic Czech tradition of seeing the winter off with a full on party across two nights.
In keeping with another great Czech tradition, Let It Roll Winter will also launch with its unique high production opening show with a brand new chapter to its ongoing sci-fi story. Another custom that ensures Let It Roll’s unique status and stature in the game, the story will trigger two whole nights of the most forward-thinking, exciting and innovative music on the planet from some of its most respected and authentic protagonists.
Over 20 acts in total across two nights in one of drum & bass’s most important cities during one of its most picturesque and romantic times of the year. What better way to shake off the winter cold and get ready for another year of raving. Feel the love, show some love, see you in February!
