Pendulum LIVE will headline Let It Roll 2022

Immortalz, it’s here. The long wait is over, your prayers have been heard. After months of negotiation, we were able to seal the deal on a performance we’ve been trying to set up for years. It is a pleasure to be able to announce the headliner of the Let It Roll 2022 festival will be the legendary act of PENDULUM LIVE.

Pendulum are one of the key acts of the genre, but their influence goes well beyond its borders. They’ve stormed onto the scene shortly after the break of the millennia, released their critically acclaimed Hold Your Colour debut album in 2005 and presented their idea of a Drum & Bass live act just a year later. In the following months and years they’ve grown to worldwide fame and to become the most prominent Drum & Bass act, a genre mostly known for its underground club culture up till then. With their high octane cross-over performances, they’ve been conquering the minds and hearts of thousands of fans across the continents, be it in big capacity halls or the biggest multi-genre festivals. The peak of this era came in 2008 with Pendulum releasing the second album In Silico in May and selling out two consecutive nights at the iconic London venue Brixton Academy in December. This performance was also recorded and later released as a live DVD.

Before that, at 18th November, they’ve also performed as a band for the first time in the Czech Republic at Roxy Prague. They’ve returned not so long after for their June 2009 performance at Planet Festival near Tábor. Their last Czech performance came in 2011 at Rock For People festival as a part of their tour following the release of their third album Immersion from the previous year. A couple of months later, in the beginning of 2012, they’ve informed their fans they’re gonna take an infinite break from new Pendulum production as well as the touring itself. The break proved to be quite extensive, their first reunion happened at V Festival in 2015 during a “regular” DJ set. The band’s reunion followed for a single show at Ultra Music Festival in Miami a year after that.

In the following years the fans have been repeatedly, yet irregularly blessed with Pendulum LIVE performances at a couple of chosen festivals. In 2018 they’ve released their remix album entitled The Reworks and in September 2020 after the years of waiting, they’ve also released a brand new Pendulum material – the Driver / Nothing For Free single. In spring 2021 Come Alive and Louder Than Words (along with Hybrid Minds) tunes followed, forming together the Elemental EP, their first joint original and new production after almost a decade of hiatus.

We’re therefore all the more pleased to announce that after 10 years of waiting and trying, we’ll be finally able to welcome Pendulum LIVE on board of the Let It Roll main stage. And we’re all gonna be able to experience both their greatest hits as well as the new stuff they’ve been working on together. Live and in full force. Bring on August already!
