Save The Rave is quickly approaching so it’s about time for us to get in the proper festival mood. Each of us likes something else – some of us are looking forward to the first ever performance of Camo & Krooked b2b Mefjus, some of us are already shedding tears while thinking of Noisia, others are eagerly counting down the hours until Netsky takes over the Temple stage. So we thought it might be a good idea to put together a list of summer hits which were produced by the very artists who are about to perform at Milovice airfield over the course of the next weekend. Let’s have it!
When we say summer hit, there’s no avoiding this one Netsky made with Digital Farm Animals for his third album “III”. You can feel the sun oozing through whenever you put it on and it never gets old. So get your costumes on, we’re taking off to Rio in a minute! P.S. don’t forget your swimsuits.
September is still summer, albeit Indian! We’re reminding ourselves of this nostalgia-infused piece taken from the first Camo & Krooked album regularly. And who knows, maybe the guys will play this one for us at Save The Rave.
As opposed to the previous tunes, Sun Goes Down is brand new, and Kanine yet again proves that he can produce not just uncompromising club bangers, but also euphoric dance floor pieces which take you to the festival in an instant as soon as you hear them.
Let’s go with the euphoria for a little while longer. Koven are your go-to duo when it comes to producing hits, so it’s not really easy to pick just one. Our favorite has to be this one though, a banger that always has be to played in their high energy festival sets.
Amidst the non-stop stream of bangers, even Metrik is capable of coming up with a perfect summer vocal number when the situation calls for it. This one features Elizabeth Troy on vocal duties, and was a part of his previous LIFE/THRILLS album from 2016.
The rising Belgian star Andromedik is at home in the waters of the melodic Drum & Bass. This is no surprise, considering he represents the phenomenal Liquicity label. And as the title suggests, the summer with you, our loyal Immortalz, is indeed better!
We can’t really leave out the local hero, Madface, hailing from Ostrava. His emotinal “Fallen Deep Enough” was definitely the highlight of the “RAM Goes To Let It Roll” compilation from 2016 when it comes to summer hits.
We’re continuing in our selection process with another nostalgia-infused piece which features the only man on the mic at Save The Rave, MC Fava. Can you feel the light salty breeze and hear the waves washing over the beach, too?
Yeah, even Zombie Cats can do summer hits. The undead kittens usually come up with heavy neurofunk, but teaming up with Slovenian producer Smooth and singer Sarah Pellicano yielded the tasty fruit which can definitely make us move as the sun sets!
We’re closing the selection with this lovely melodic piece from Slovakian producer Nuex who will be opening the Temple stage on Saturday 7th August.
So what do you reckon, did you choose your favorite from our list? Or do you have any tip for a track we might have missed in the list? Let us know in the comments! In case you don’t have your Save The Rave ticket already, hurry up and secure one as there’s just a few of them left by now. We’re looking forward to seeing you immensely, so take care and let’s meet up on the next weekend at Milovice airfield!
