EDM Identity published an interview in which Carolina Quijano interviewed the Evol Intent giant after his set at Let It Roll Puerto Rico and again upon his return to the US. The text introduces Evol Intent as the trio of Gigantor, Knick, and The Enemy and states that the project was formed in 2000 and that they released the LP “Era of Diversion” in 2008.
Gigantor says in an interview that the band is interested in a reunion gig or tour, adding that they would like to prepare remixes and reinterpretations of their own catalog and other classics. He mentions Avalon in Los Angeles as the last time the three will perform together on the same stage, “maybe in 2011 or 2012.”
He also states that he has done most of the performances under the name Evol Intent in recent years, and that he has concentrated on teaching until the Icon Collective school closes in May 2025. On Evolcast, he says he is “way” behind on new work, but wants to continue; the article also mentions that the last episode of Evolcast #20 was released in January 2025. Finally, Gigantor mentions plans for new tracks, new Evolcast episodes, and starting a Patreon for tutorials, samples, and possibly music.
