The interview with Neonlight focuses on the creation of the track Purple Radiance, which they describe as a conscious shift towards greater restraint and detailed sound design. The producers describe how the song took a long time to create and was fundamentally rewritten several times. It was originally a remix, which gradually transformed into an original track. The key goal was to create cinematic tension and atmosphere right from the start of the song, rather than relying on an immediate drop.

Neonlight talks about the emphasis on space, dynamics, and gradually building energy instead of overcrowded arrangements. They also explain the rhythmic structure of the track, including working with a triplet groove and transitioning to 4×4 in the latter part.

Purple Radiance was released on the Evolution Chamber label and according to the authors, it represents their current production philosophy based on precision, patience and long-term functionality of the track in sets.

Wilkinson kicks off 2026 with the release of his new single Eternity, featuring vocalist Mougleta. It is his first release of the year and a clear signal of the further development of his sound.

Track kombinuje tranceově laděné akordy, povznášející synťáky a emotivní vokální výkon, cílený jak na hlavní festivalová pódia, tak na pozdní klubové hodiny.

Eternity signals a more open and epic sound direction. The single also serves as a precursor to the fifth studio album Infinity, scheduled for release in late spring.

The duo Zombie Cats have made a reputation for their neuro sound and releases on labels like Eatbrain and Blackout during their classic era since 2015. During the COVID-19 pandemic, their work began to tend towards more atmospheric and artistic influences, such as collaborations with underground label Galacy and melodic tracks like Make Me Move and No More on Liquicity.

Since then, they have been alternating between harder neuro releases with melodic and tech elements on various labels, including DeVice, Dispatch, and High Tea Recordings, while continuing on their own Zombie Cats Label. According to them, the album Tech Dreams, released in April 2023, marked a shift in thinking and began to shape the future direction of their work.

The interview took place between the release of the annual compilation Undead: X Year Anniversary and the upcoming remix version Tech Dreams | the Remixes, in which the duo outlined their plans for 2026 and beyond.
