WARNING ABOUT PSYCHOACTIVE SUBSTANCES

Let It Roll is a celebration of music, freedom, and positive experiences. To ensure the safety of all attendees, we would like to remind you of a few essential guidelines.

Illegality and Zero Tolerance

The use, possession, and distribution of psychoactive substances is illegal in the Czech Republic. According to Act No. 167/1998 Coll. on Addictive Substances:
– Possession of a small quantity for personal use is considered an offence and may be subject to a fine of up to CZK 15,000.
– Exceeding this amount, as well as production, possession for another person, or distribution, constitutes a criminal offence that may result in imprisonment for up to 10 years

The festival enforces a zero-tolerance policy. Any violation of the law will result in removal from the festival grounds, notification of the Czech Police, and potential legal consequences.

Increased Risks and Current Situation in the Czech Republic

Dangerous substances of unknown composition and unpredictable potency are increasingly appearing on the Czech market. In some cases, even a single use may be life-threatening.

– GHB – also known as G, Gaba, or “liquid ecstasy”

A clear liquid with an extremely narrow dosing range – posing high risks of overdose, respiratory arrest, or death.

  • The effects vary significantly depending on the dose – the line between euphoria and overdose can be very thin.
  • GHB overdose can cause unconsciousness, breathing failure, and death.
  • Combining it with alcohol is extremely dangerous, as both are depressants and may amplify each other’s effects.

– MDMA (ecstasy tablets)

Recently, tablets with extremely high MDMA content (often exceeding 250 mg per dose) have appeared on the market, significantly increasing the risk of overheating (hyperthermia), seizures, kidney or liver failure, and in extreme cases, death.

❗ MDMA is especially dangerous when combined with other substances like alcohol, stimulants, or medications – effects may intensify unexpectedly, straining the heart and nervous system.

💡 There is no safe dose. Each body reacts differently, and the risk multiplies with other substances, alcohol, or dehydration.

  • ⚠️ Be especially cautious with tablets known as “Blue Punisher”, which are circulating across Europe and the Czech Republic. They are known to contain extremely high doses of MDMA and have been linked to several severe intoxications and deaths.

– Nitazen / Spirochlorphine

In recent months, highly potent synthetic opioids have been reported repeatedly across the Czech Republic.

  • Lethal doses are measured in micrograms – quantities that are practically invisible to the naked eye.
  • These substances are extremely dangerous due to respiratory depression, which can quickly lead to breathing arrest and death.
  • Often mixed into other drugs (heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines), or used to produce fake pills (e.g., Xanax, Oxycodone) that contain no real medication.

What do these substances look like?

Most commonly:

  • Powders or crystals – white, grey, yellowish, or brown.
  • Often sold as “heroin” on the street.

But also:

  • Fake tablets labeled as Xanax, Alprazolam, Oxycodone, Subutex, etc.
  • Capsules or even e-liquids for electronic cigarettes (vape).

‼️ Symptoms of intoxication

– Similar to other opioids, but occur rapidly and often without warning:

  • Miosis (extremely constricted pupils – “pinpoint pupils”)
  • Drowsiness to unconsciousness, confusion, inability to communicate
  • Slowed breathing (<<10 breaths/min) or gasping
  • Blue lips and fingers, pale or grey complexion
  • Vomiting, slurred speech
  • In severe cases: respiratory or cardiac arrest

Especially Dangerous Factors

Mixing substances – can overwhelm the body or lead to fatal failure.

Lack of knowledge about doses and effects – even a small mistake can have irreversible consequences.

Dehydration, heat, and exhaustion – increase the risk of collapse.

Health Comes First

Festivals are physically and mentally demanding – heat, dancing, lack of sleep, and intense emotions exhaust the body and mind. Any external influence can magnify this and lead to serious consequences.

– Stay hydrated, eat regularly, and rest.
– Pay attention to how you feel – never ignore your body’s warning signs.
– If someone around you feels unwell, immediately contact medical staff or a festival crew member.
– On-site medical teams and Hard & Smart booths will provide support without judgment or penalties.

No Alcohol or Substances Behind the Wheel

In the Czech Republic, zero tolerance applies to driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Police will carry out strict sobriety checks during the festival.

– Driving under the influence = fine up to CZK 50,000 and license suspension for up to 2 years.

A driver under the influence endangers not only themselves but everyone around. This rule is enforced with zero tolerance.

Together for a Safe Festival

We believe you will enjoy the festival to the fullest – safely and without unnecessary risks.
