DJ Contest – Let It Roll Winter

To celebrate a quarter-century of Let It Roll, we are giving our Immortalz community a unique opportunity: to open Let It Roll Winter 2027 with their own set!

We are looking for a DJ who understands opening slot programming – someone who can work with energy, build an atmosphere, and kick off the night the right way.



How to enter?

  1. Record your set: Prepare a 25–30 minute DnB mix that works well as an opening set.
  2. Upload it online: Upload your mix to SoundCloud, Mixcloud, or YouTube.
  3. Name your mix: Use the exact naming format: DJ NAME – LET IT ROLL WINTER 2027 DJ CONTEST
  4. Submit your application: Fill out the form below by November 4, 2026.

Musical Direction (Opening Vibe)

An opening set has its own specifics. We are looking for a sound that gets people in the mood for the whole night.

  • Welcome styles: Dancefloor, Liquid, Deep, Melodic DnB, Soulful DnB, Rolling DnB.
  • Not suitable for opening: Neurofunk, hard Jump Up, extreme/aggressive subgenres, or sets built on headliner tracks and closing bangers.


You don’t have to be tied down by strict genre boxes. The deciding factor is whether your mix works as a proper opening set for the Main / Dancefloor stage.

On-site technical equipment

A professional setup will be ready on stage for the winner:

4× Pioneer CDJs (or turntables) + DJ mixer.

Evaluation

The winner will be chosen by our experienced LIR DJs Akira and Magenta in collaboration with the LIR crew. The number of likes, followers, or reposts has no impact on the result – only the music and selection matter.
