Volunteers and interns

Welcome to the Let It Roll festival volunteer program info page! Jsme rádi, že zvažuješ připojit se k týmu, který stojí za předním světovým drum & bass festivalem.

Volunteering at Let It Roll is more than just a way to get into the festival — it’s a chance to experience it from the inside. You’ll be part of the crew that makes everything run, meet people from all over the world, and see sides of the festival most guests never do.

In exchange for a few shifts, you’ll have plenty of free time to enjoy the music, the atmosphere, and everything Let It Roll has to offer.

Information

As a volunteer, you’ll work three shifts over the course of the festival. Each one lasts 6–8 hours, depending on your role. Shift length can vary based on the nature of the work.

Volunteers are expected to be at the festival from Wednesday (29.7.). The exact arrival time and further logistical details will be communicated to you by email after you are selected.

When you’re off-duty, you can enjoy the festival just like any other Immortal! Your volunteer experience kicks off with accreditation, a quick briefing, and safety training.

The tasks are not physically demanding — they’re more about supporting the festival’s operations. In most cases you’ll stick to one specific role throughout the festival, but depending on operational needs you may be assigned to different roles across your shifts. Either way, we’ll make sure you’re fully briefed before you start.

Please keep in mind that the festival industry moves fast, and things can change on short notice — shift times, roles, and schedules may be adjusted in the lead-up to or during the event. We’ll always communicate changes as early as possible, and we ask for your flexibility and understanding.

Good news: Volunteers don’t work night shifts. Your shifts will be scheduled during the day and evening, so your nights are free to enjoy the music.

Accommodation & facilities

We’ll provide you with a spot in the crew camp, but remember to bring your own camping gear — tent, sleeping bag, etc. You’ll have access to showers and toilets 24/7, and there will be a dedicated space to charge your phone — though we strongly recommend bringing a power bank or two, as charging spots can get busy.

Food & drinks

Each day, you’ll get a baguette for breakfast and two hot meals in the crew canteen, plus access to drinking water throughout the festival. Feel free to bring along your own snacks and drinks too.

To join, you must be 18 or older on your arrival date.

Deposit

All volunteers are required to pay a deposit in the amount of a festival ticket. The deposit will be refunded approximately 14 days after the festival ends.

The deposit serves as a guarantee that you will attend your assigned shifts and follow the festival guidelines.

Please note: if a volunteer seriously violates the rules, the deposit will not be refunded.

You will be asked to pay the deposit only after you are chosen as a volunteer.

If you already have a festival ticket, it will be converted into your volunteer deposit. You’ll receive further instructions by email once you’re accepted into the program.

How to apply

Applications are submitted through a form. It’s important that you read all the sections on this page before filling it out, as you need to be well-informed before applying.

In the form, you’ll be asked to select your preferred roles based on the information provided in the “Roles” section. Please note that selecting a preferred role does not guarantee you’ll be assigned to it — final placements depend on the number of applicants, team balance, and operational needs. We’ll always do our best to match you with something you’re interested in.

You’ll also be asked to upload a short video explaining your motivation for volunteering. We prefer the video to be in English, as most volunteer roles require English. However, you can also record it in Czech — there are some roles where Czech is enough.

If you’ve read all the sections on this page and feel the volunteer program is right for you, click below and fill out the application.

Applications close at the end of May.

Applying with friends

If you’d like to join the volunteer program with a friend (or a small group), include their name and the email address they’ll use to sign up. We’ll do our best to place you in the same team, assign you the same role, or at least schedule your shifts during the same time periods.

Selection process

The selection process will take a few weeks as we carefully review applications and choose the most suitable candidates. Once the selection is complete, the chosen candidates will be contacted via email with further information.

All applicants will receive a response, whether you’ve been selected or not, so you won’t be left wondering. If you haven’t been chosen this time, we truly appreciate the time you took to apply and hope to see you at the festival regardless.

Information

The internship takes place during the festival, from Tuesday (28.7) to Saturday (1.8). You will work alongside our internal teams. The scope of work may vary from day to day depending on what is needed. This is a real commitment and we expect you to be professional, reliable and genuinely interested in the job.

Both positions are open to native Czech speakers who are also comfortable communicating in English.
